G.C. Simmons
G.C. Simmons began his writing journey at just seventeen with the release of Shattered Skies, the first installment in his ambitious sci-fi fantasy saga, The Tempest Project. Since then, he has continued crafting new stories that explore the edges of imagination, blending epic world-building with emotional, character-driven narratives.
G.C. Simmons is drawn to the unpredictable. In both his science fiction and fantasy work, he resists traditional tropes—challenging the notion that heroes always survive and destinies are set in stone. Instead, his stories are built around risk, consequence, and the complexity of human (and inhuman) perspective. His work is known for jumping between viewpoints, offering readers a sweeping view of events unfolding from all sides.
At the heart of his storytelling is a simple goal: to keep readers uncertain, invested, and emotionally raw. He believes the most gripping narratives are those that leave readers on unstable ground—never sure who will survive, who will change, or what might be lost next. By rejecting the notion of guaranteed safety or predictable arcs, he creates stories where the stakes feel real and irreversible. Every decision matters, every moment could be the last, and no character is immune to consequence. This uncertainty pulls readers deeper, drawing out stronger emotions and a more immersive connection to the world he’s built. If his audience finds themselves gasping, heart racing, whispering, “I can’t believe that just happened”—then, and only then, does he consider it a success.
He currently has several upcoming titles in development, each promising new worlds, darker stakes, and the same narrative daring that marked his debut.
I want my readers to feel everything—the dread, the hope, the heartbreak. If you’re never sure who will make it out alive, then you’re truly in the story. — G.C. Simmons
Write because there’s a story in you that won’t let you sleep until it’s told.
